Loneliness in these parishes is often quiet, hidden behind every day routines.

New residents may not know wheways have company, confidence, or suitable transport. People who no longer drive, particularly in the evenings, find it hard to stay socially connected. Those on lower incomes or caring for others often put themselves last and describe feeling “left out of the loop.”

Working closely with area leads from South Gloucestershire Council, CVS South Gloucestershire brings a clear vision for piloting and scaling the Impact Alliance programme to maximise impact.  Their commitment to equitable fund distribution ensures resources reach organisations embedded in our communities, while championing an Asset- Based Community Development approach to empower sustainable, community-led change.
