This interactive training day focuses on planning, delivering, reviewing, and improving creative and inclusive sessions. Participants will draw on everything they have learned from across the ATN training programme, from facilitation techniques and creative activities to trauma-informed practice, equitable participation, safeguarding, and behaviour management.

The training provides a structured approach to session design and reflective practice, helping participants develop the confidence to create purposeful, engaging sessions and continuously improve their work through thoughtful reflection.

During the training, you will:

  • Bring together learning from previous training sessions into a coherent approach to planning and delivery

  • Design creative, inclusive, and person-centred sessions with clear aims and outcomes

  • Consider the needs, strengths, and interests of different groups when planning activities

  • Select and sequence appropriate icebreakers, warm-ups, creative activities, and reflections

  • Develop reflective practice techniques to identify strengths and areas for growth

  • Review and refine session plans through discussion and peer feedback

  • Explore how reflection can improve confidence, effectiveness, and participant experience

This practical training will enable you to confidently plan, deliver, review, and improve sessions, ensuring that everything you have learned is translated into meaningful, engaging, and inclusive practice.
